  • Paul Purdue, BS, PTA

    Paul recieved his bachelor of science in sports medicine and athletic training from Eastern University in 1992.

    Paul is a Physical Therapist Assisant who has been practicing locally since 1996. He has served in political roles within the Physical Therapy Association of Washington as well as the APTA as PTWA Caucus Rep and APTA Caucas Delegate.

    Paul specializes in general orthopedic injuries, knee and shoulder rehabilitation, sports medicine and neurological rehabilitation.

    Paul enjoys working politically with in the physical therapy community, traveling, soccer, football, fishing, skiing and spending time as his family cabin on Whidbey Island.

  • Stephanie Hanson, MPT

    Stephanie received her masters degree in physical therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 2000. In the last 17 years she has been practicing in outpatient physical therapy in Hawaii, Tacoma, and now Gig Harbor.

    Stephanie’s specialty areas are spinal dysfunction, sports rehabilitation, and joint dysfunctions, using techniques including Kinesiotaping, muscle energy, and strain/counterstrain. Stephanie has an extensive background in therapeutic exercise including core stabilization and specific joint strengthening.

    She enjoys spending her time off with her husband and 2 sons, usually playing soccer, cycling, snowboarding or camping.

  • Tami Roehr, MPT, DPT

    Tami Roehr, PT, MPT, DPT, is a doctor of physical therapy with over 26 years of vast experiences. Tami has a Masters and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the US Army-Baylor University Graduate Program in Physical Therapy and the US Army-Baylor University Transitional Doctorate Program in Physical Therapy. She says she was born to be a PT, for her it is fun to be able to help people feel better and add quality to life. Her patients says she has magic hands!

    Tami lives in Gig Harbor with her son and cat. She is an Air Force brat, have lived all over the world, and is an Army veteran. She went to grade school and high school in University Place and her undergrad degree is from WSU. In her time off work she loves to be with her family.

  • Laura Mizumoto, DPT

    Laura received her Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Science from Loyola Marymount University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Washington. She has worked in an outpatient orthopedic setting since she graduated in 2011. She received her Fellowship of Applied Functional Science in 2014. She is certified in ASTYM, myofascial decompression (cupping) and Applied Functional Science.

    Laura enjoys treating all individuals from children to geriatrics, but her specialty areas are sports rehabilitation especially runners and triathletes and post-surgical rehabilitation. She was a Division 1 athlete in Cross Country and Track & Field at both LMU and UW. She is our expert in treating runners and does run gait analysis for injury prevention and to help improve your run gait efficiency. She is passionate about getting her clients back to their prior level of function and beyond.

    Laura is an avid trail and road runner, but she also enjoys hiking, traveling and exploring the wonderful Gig Harbor community with her husband and daughter.

  • Cheri J Grant, M.S., PT

    Cheri received her masters in sports medicine from the University of Washington in 1976, went on to become the head women’s athletic trainer for the University of Southern California, then completed her physical therapy degree from Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Upon returning to Washington, she started the first physical therapy private practice in Gig Harbor in 1980.

    Cheri specializes in spinal/pelvic girdle dysfunction utilizing Jones Institute strain/counterstrain (since 1992), muscle energy techniques, and is a Stott certified Pilates instructor. Joint replacement and orthopedic dysfunction, headaches and vestibular dysfunction are other areas of specialty.

    Cheri’s time is occupied as a Dawg fan in the fall, snowshoeing and skiing in the winter and she enjoys boating all year long with friends and family.

  • Lara Carter, Office Manager

    Lara has been a valuable member of our team since 1997. Lara is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound. Before she managed the office, her background as our physical therapy aide, receptionist, scheduler, and bookkeeper, have allowed her to understand patient needs from multiple perspectives. She is always happy to help you with any questions you might have regarding insurance or billing.

    Lara and her husband have a son and daughter that keep them extremely busy. In her free time, she enjoys watching her son play basketball, and just exploring Tacoma with her family. Just kidding, she doesn’t have any free time.
